Thank you to everyone that came to our performances this past weekend. We enjoyed having such a lovely audience come and watch. The clapping and laughter makes all the hard work and preparation worth it.

Performances!
Duprada Dance Company Stages 5 Performances per year.
We have a Company only performance at the start of each year.
Magic of Dance and Jazz Collective performances towards the end of the year showcasing the young dancers from the Australian Dance Academy.
A performance in Darwin with Leisa's School of Dancing.
And last but not least our Family only Morning Melodies performance for the tiniest dancers in our school.

About us
Duprada Dance Company
Duprada Dance Company has two residences in the Northern Territory; Alice Springs and Darwin.
Lynne Hanton OAM founded the Company in 1984, Alice Springs, inspired by Royal Ballet Company Principal Dancer, Ann Jenner.

The Alice Springs Araluen Arts Centre opened in 1984, where Duprada Dance Company, formerly the Alice Springs Ballet Company, became the first company to perform on stage.
10 years later Duprada Dance Company expanded to Darwin.
​
In 2011 Lynne was awarded the 'Order of Australia Medal' for the development of Classical Ballet and Choreography in the Northern Territory.
Leisa's School of Dancing
Founding Director Leisa Jackson opened Leisa's School of Dancing in 2000. The school takes students from 3 years to full-time Professional Studies and is the training School for Duprada Dance Company Darwin.
Leisa's School of Dancing is affiliated with the Australian Dance Academy & Duprada Dance Company Alice Springs.

Leisa graduated with a Diploma in Classical Ballet majoring in Classical Ballet followed by International Studies.
Leisa travelled with students to the International Master Classes in Prague in 2005 and 2017.
