Duprada Dance Company is supported and funded by our not-for-profit organisation DDC Performing Arts Incorporated - a charitable organisation raising funds for Live Theatre and the Performing Arts.

It is probably no surprise to anyone that MAKING ART HAPPEN is challenging. Artists are creating work that is essentially entertainment and recreation for the community and beyond. The production of this entertainment is the workplace of the Artists. The workplace is a business running in the same way with the same rules, regulations and associated costs of every other business in Australia.

This short video is a peek into a day in the Australian Dance Academy studio's when the Australian Ballet arrived in Alice Springs a few weeks ago. Duprada Dance Company MAKING ART HAPPEN in partnership with The Australian Ballet. Artists involved - Pianist for class, teachers, choreography, costumes designed, made and stored along with hours of rehearsals. Stay tuned!!
