An Inspiring Start to 2026

We have had such an inspiring start to 2026 with new students, Mahlia Burroughs moving to Alice Springs to complete her Professional Studies, Scarlett Worrall travelling to Darwin to work with the Victorian State Ballet and the 2026 Season Launch. The Season Launch which announced Duprada Dance Company and the Australian Dance Academy's performance programmes for 2026 and was held in the Studios at Diarama Village. We were proud to have on display our 2026 Calendar featuring photographs of our 2025 year.
Thank you to our guests who are inspiring and supportive. Happy Birthday to Jose Petrick who was 102 on Valentines Day and is such a wonderful supporter of the Ballet. We are looking forward to inviting her to Don Quixote she is a Star.
We welcomed the Minister for Arts, Jinson Charls into our studios on Monday evening - It was certainly a very busy time during his visit with all four studios busy with our intermediate and ballet company dancers in pilates and dance classes. Minister Charls and his entourage were surprised at the size of the building, the organisation and number of costumes along with the energy and activity of the dancers, teachers and parents. Erin Selleck prepared a wonderfull slide show and video for our Season Launch which you will see displayed in our studios over the next few weeks.
