Creating the best possible training and exercise programmes for our dancers and pilates clients is our number one priority and everyone at the Australian Dance Academy and Duprada constantly works towards achieving the best of the best. At Duprada each week we are teaching, encouraging and training dance students who change and grow daily along with a broad range of pilates clients, young dancers, adult pilates for fitness and injury recovery and post surgery sessions for non-dancers.
Our pre-primary dancers are enthralled by movement to music and as teachers we use that energy and excitement to develop their creativity, confidence, flexibility, strength and balance.
Our junior and intermediate students have the good grounded technique as we begin to introduce different styles of dance such as Tap Dancing and Jazz with the more accomplished senior students add contemporary and character to their broadening skills.
Pilates is introduced to dancers in the company at a time when they struggle during their growing years - injury prevention is key while they are quickly advancing with their knowledge but their co-ordination and strength may be playing catch-up. Our pilates studio is very busy with lots sessions each day for both dancers, pilates clients and injury assessments.
To have Jane Paris from the Royal Ballet Company in London visit Alice Springs was pure inspiration and it is hard to express how generous and passionate she was with her teaching and information. After 12 years of planning the stars finally aligned and Jane finally arrived in the rain. Every one of our teachers, dancers and full-time professional studies students will benefit from her visit and the results will be shown in the training and exercise programmes here at Duprada ongoing.

Jane is publishing her second book in April this year. She has worked for the Royal Ballet Company for over 20 years and worked with some of the most famous dancers in the world. Jane also consults for the Norwegian Winter Olympic team.

Leisa Jackson flew in from Darwin for the week and our team put aside our day to day work, classes and rehearsals to get as much time as possible with Jane. To spend a whole week with Jane was an absolute privilege. Thank you Jane.
